Letty Whiterock Headcanon // 10th January 2012 // 3 notes
Because I’m bored…
- She’s one of the few inhabitants of Gensokyo who can speak english.
- Letty was befriended by a girl who got lost in Gensokyo around 1900. The girl taught Letty proper etiquette. After some time Letty suddenly froze the girl into an ice statue (as her sign of thanks and friendship) and now keeps her in her hibernation lair underground. Best friends forever.
- Despite being a youkai she is a bit more level headed than the typical youkai.
- Her mood corresponds with the weather and temperature. She is the happiest during a strong blizzard with sub zero temperatures.
- She is cold (no pun intended) and a bit un-friendly towards everyone. This is because Letty is jealous of others who can stay awake and live throughout the year while she can only come out for a small fraction of time during the winter.
- Due to her jealousy she attacks and attempts to kill humans and sometimes other youkai.
- Despite being a ice youkai she feeds off of heat energy by absorbing heat from a heat emitting source. Doing this she can put out a fireplace in seconds. Though she gets the most heat energy from humans. By grabbing onto a human and not letting go until all of their heat is gone and they are a dead, frozen shell.
- Her favorite method of killing humans is to pose as a friendly guide to a lost traveler in the midst of a blizzard only to mislead them deeper into it and then absorb their heat energy once they are weakened by the conditions enough.
